I read here somewhere that the ea has a bigger intake then an ED.


can someone post a pic of there intake of an ea to compare with my ED

its called a bucket with a hole cut in the bottom with the intake tube going into it :P

Are you talking about the large 'bowl' just before the airbox?

The EA has less restrictive intake piping between the throttle body and the airbox.

The EA MPI intake piping is 80mm all the way to the airbox where the EB-ED series have a down sized tapered pipe as it clamps onto the airbox. (ford used it to reduce induction noise for old fussy bast%rds.) $5 mod from the wreckers............

jeez i thought most people new that???

i went from running 20 sec 1/4 miles to 14 flat.... not much power gain to be had from it, most likely all in the head

i got one, but i prefer to use the XF 3 inch TB pipe.

so which pipe is it? airbox to throttle body or the actual snorkle

well as most people have said, its from throttle body to airbox, not the snorkle
