my ea has the broadband manifold and mandrel bend intake snorkle running straight into a pod and a mate has informed me that it is no good because it is sucking hot air and i will make more power if i run a airbox and a k an n panel filter or modify the airbox to make the pod fit, can u guy's give me an idea on what will make the most power and is best for making it suck cold air???. it has had a bit of head work and is blueprinted, balanced, stage 3 crow cam, hawk ECU, 10:1 comp pistons, lukey extractors and its has a t5 manual and 3:23 geared lsd , it's making roughly 140 rwkw and i want to try make 150rwkw i was thinking of modifying an airbox to create the heat sheild and get it sucking cold air and getting rid of the lukey extractors and replacing them with pacemaker comp series headers. do u think this will work , what are your recomendations to make my desired 150rwkw.........
cheers
Angus

changing headers 1kw maybe.
airbox 1-2kw only if its sucking in alot of hot air

better off getting more extensive head work or bigger springs/valves and a bigger cam i dont know about hawk ecu, but maybe a unichip and custom dyno tune would see 150rwkw
