Injectors?
Take you injectors out and have them professionally cleaned. Costs around $20ea.

Double check fireing order? 1.5.3.6.2.4...
Dissy cap on o/k ? Pita position right ??
Make sure the inlet gasget had cutouts for injectors, not the throttle body gagset??

when you say hitting the pedal on and off, you mean that it hunts at idle? as in the idle speed goes up and down? or do you mean it jumps around vigorously, and makes backfiring noises?

Cheers
