Hey guys,
first post here just got a quick question I'm looking at replacing the belts on my other car, the problem I have is when I bought the vehicle I was told it had a EB engine put in. So I am not sure if it is a stock EA or EB series I or II. On the top it says "4.0 OHC" and just under that is has a yellow marking. Any help would be great! they are one in the same mate
both ran the 3 belt set up so it dosent matter which ones you get as they are the same only ed ef onwards have different belts

from those pictures it does looks like a ea falcon with a eb motor but still running the old centre fuel injector system AKA cfi off the ea 3.9 and 4 litre motors

All series 2 EB falcons received the 4l MPI OHC engine. Hopefully if it is a 4l EB MPI engine they either swapped over the chopper disk or re-installed the CPI dizzy..... Most long motors without inlet manifolds and accessories etc still generally have the dizzy left in.............

Thanks guys for the replies. So I was looking at belts today at Supercheap and they have different types of belts for each different type of engine. So engine model would suit the belts, e.g. EA EB EBII....

Looks to have an EB engine fitted to an EA with CFI, if they list belts for each type of engine, they are morons, they are all the same, so just ask for any. lol
