Well I think I need to change my water pump, my alternator bracket no longer has teeth on it to adjust it tight (so a pain to get tight) and 3 belts are a pain the butt to swap and change....

SO..

I am thinking why not just go serpentine belt, my a/c needs gas so best done before I get it gassed, the alternator appears to work fine but 110amp would be nice, I am looking for a list of parts needed, what can be kept, what has to be changed, post away people.

Yep, been there done it.

Its all bolt on.

On the EA 3.9 Donk I believe you are limited to using A/C bracket and A/C Compressor from XH (Serp) ute.

Otherwise its all bolt on. Just get all the relevant accessories, brackets and idler/tensioners.

If you do have to go down the XH Ute A/C Bracket path, remember to get an XH ute Serp belt.

Cheers

Yeah i plan to still use the ea-ed inlet manifold, so basically go strip the accesories off an XH ute and bolt em all back on when I get home.

Sorry to dig this thread up again, but better than making a new one.

What's the deal with the lower radiator hose? Does the EF/EL hose just go on?

its better to use the ef/el radiator as the lower hose on ef/el is smaller in diameter than ea to ed..
or you can make a reducer to adapt the small ef hose to the larger ea radiator...
