Hey guys havent been on for a while, too busy with end of exams and stuff.
im looking for really cheap springs to lower this EB and have it sit a bit meaner on the road, what do you guys recommend for a tight budget, i want the back about 3/4 of an inch lower than the front? where could i pick up some cheap springs, i live in melbourne (brunswick) |

Yeah, possibly Ebay, for a second hand set or maybe even a new one...ive seen a set of pedders low springs, but don't be expecting to find a set of ultra lows etc that's gonna dump it on it's a**, although you never know what evilBay is harbouring, just to make you do impulse buys..lol.
If your gonna buy from a store it'll be a bit more but it's all new parts with warranty. Don't cut em, and if you do dont tell us, or you'll be shot down like a Stuka in the battle of Britain.. LOL. However on an interesting note with that, I was watching Overhaulin a bit back, and it was the last day/hours etc.....and they filmed and showed, one of the workers cutting the springs for this crazy mustang or camaro, as a "final adjustment to the ride height to suit Chips liking"... So there you go...Chip Foose has used cut springs in his creations...although they are mostly show cars that probably don't see regular street use like our cars...

i picked up new king spring super lows for my ea project car for like $250 front and rear i think n the shocks to match them were 350 all rode freakin beautiful the 2 or 3 times i drove it before i decided engine change and build n redo all the wiring in it lol but yea they ruide real nice werent 2 stiff either

Okay thanks guys, i might get them from pedders, there is a joint down the road from my place and i called them up and they said come in and well check out the car and see if the shocks will suit the springs and stuff so ill go for a drive down in the next couple of weeks

all ive got on mine (for now) is 2 n half into some sports box super turbo or sumthing and it sounds good but extractors n hi-flow cat wuld be better but the buget thing will be a prob for extractors n cat
