Had an issue with hesitation in my EL wagon. The issue got worse until it lead to stalling. Didn't bother repairing it before I took it off the road, but tracked it down to fuel pump.

cheers for that but I don't think it's the fuel pump.

With further investigation it seems to only do it when the engine is cold.

I will change the ECU temp sensor and see what happens, I'm thinking its the choke not coming on.

Yeah mine started the same way, only in the first couple of minutes of a drive, and only when starting from a dead stop. After that it started getting more frequent, and then started happening when I'd put my foot down a bit further to overtake.

Let us know how it goes and ill try to remember the other stuff I checked when it started happening on the wagon
