is there a differance (other then visually) in oil pressure senders between eb -ef
after installing an ef xr engine in my eb my oil pressure on the dash is sitting on the first mark ... do i have low oil pressure or do i have the wrong sender for the dash? thankyou

Dude, you need VDO part number: 360.013. You can get it from Repco or simular for about $60. That or swap the one off your old engine to your new engine. EF/EL senders have a different resistance range to the XD/ED ones.

mmm...i changed the pressure sensor...(p.i.t.a) now the gauge reads over full like it wants to break the needle .. this sender came off my old eb fairmont... i have one more i can try.. but its twice the size and fugly...?

i have a Fairmont Ghia dash in a Gli Falcon .... so if i put in the sender to match the dash it will be sweet??
