Buy an After market one, Genuine is TOO DARN EXPENSIVE, $578.00. This mob has one for $89.00 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FALCON-EA-EL-SED ... 29f19949c5

Thanks guys ill take your advice and get the Goss one from Bursons if there only a $100 bux. But ill try Peps first as well. Yeah the car was driving beautifuly last night on the way home from a day at the tennis until the engine died at Chullora on the hume highway. Not happy ! Towing the car home was another $100 bux so that money i saved will get me the pump. :D

It always happens at the most inconvienient times hey..................
Aftermarket will be fine. Probably built in the same chinese factory as the genuine but in a different box.

You aint wrong. I ended up getting the Goss pump from my local Peps store.... 85 bux
Finally the beast is going again but $200 bux later. $120 to tow it and $85 for the pump which was unexpected :x but i suppose it could have been a lot more if i had a Jap car or something so i shouldn't really winge.

So cheers to all and should be seeing you on friday night.

is there any benefit of going to a bigger pump like a walbro 255 intake pump? or not worth it as im runnin at 40psi fuel pressure the reason i ask is that i think my original one has just about let go and needs replacing and i also have next weekend to install all of my mods and get my new chip tuned etc

unless you plan on going turbo or supercharged there is no need for a higher flowing pump..
the std one can flow enough for high kw output n/a..

Good choice on the Goss pump, if you look on the bottom you will see they are VDO pumps (same as genuine ford) at 1/4 the price... 8-)

Well so far the car is running sweet. No problems with power loss or anything. I also noticed it comes with a 2 year warranty so i cant complain for $85
