Ok. So the go is. My eb s was hunting baddly at idle and stalling. Cleaned the throttle body and the she was all sweet. Today driving home she started playing up again. Aswell as the low coolant light comming on.
Now im home, checked the coolant. Needed a top up. Was just on low. It is leaking from the rear of the head gasket. The engine is NOT mixing coolant and oil. Or oil and coolant. Just leaking from the rear of the head gasket.

Back to the idle. Right now I've disconected the batt for halfa. And re connected it and I am re training it. The let it idle. Rev to 1k for 20 seconds. Let idle. Then 2k and 3 ect. It seems to be fine.

I am just courious to know if the leaking head gasket and idle problems are conected.
As I said no coolant oil mixing. Not burning oil. Just loosing coolant.
I can see where its coming from. But its not leaking at the moment. Only a tiny bit of coolant on the bottom end.

Any help appreciated.

So far I have.
Cleaned isc.
Cleaned tb.
Checked for vac leaks, none present.
And re set the ecu.

Cheers.

Ok. The tps is the one towards the back ok the log?
From memmory its around there.

ALSO.
When I have my sterio right up. Sub driving hard. It hunts worse. Say if I pump it from one set of lights to the next it'll most probably hunt and stall. But if its off it'll only hunt a little...?
And it misses on accelleration.

the tps is on the side of the throttle body, you check the voltage between the green and black/white wire..

On the engine side? Thats a kent of a spot to get there.
Engines to hot to get from above. Will do it on a hoist tomorro.
Just remembered.
When the tb was cleaned the timing was set to 0.
It was to slow. More fuel over a few day.
So I got a trade certified mate to advance it by ear.
The next few days is when the idle has started playing up.
Where its at runs hard.
Just now I've attempted to "by eat" slightly retard the timing.
I have turned the distrib. about 3mm clockwise.
Will see what its like tomorro.
Also will do a service this weekend. With a good oil this time. Not gulf western.

So backed off the timing slightly.
Car runs perfect.
And not loosing coolant. So that was probably from me flogging it saturday night.
