Hi all
my missus car was written of last night so lookin for a replacement Heard that a friend of a friend is sellin a eb xr6 sprint with very straight body/interior but cooked motor for 3grand!! I have an ea and can get replacement bits no worrys but what are these things like (coz I havent seen it yet) what should I look out for? are they rare? good price?power/torque/weight? Any info appreciated thanks PS dont know if its manual or auto.

umm..... no such thing as an EB XR 6 Sprint, only sprint bodykits, and ED XR8 Sprint's

I thought it mite be rare coz i hadnt heard of 1, coz i know its a i6 maybe its just a kit or just an xr6 wiil have a look at it soon.
you sure there werent any xr6 sprints? Any1 else heard of xr6 sprint or is it just bad information?

however! There was an eb xr6 s. not a sprint, but closest youll get? Apart from interior and diff, the only difference would be the head and fuel system?

There was an EB XR6 'SS'
But their is only a handful and most of them were raced iirc. No dirty 4L ever sullied the Sprint name.

There were only 10 EB XR6 SS made.[built for homligation and used for production racing] They were basically an EB XR6 with XR8 gearing. CHeck ou Performace Ford Mag Vol 2 ed 5 page31.
