But, getting a bigger cam, new valve springs, retainers, and a bit of a clean up would go well yeah? I know i'd have to get it chipped and a tune but yeah. I like lumpy cams, but the boys in blue might not like it so much

Nah, this thing is pretty quick, it kept up with an VT series 2 clubby, the one with the 250kw ls1 (i think it's 250 could be 225)

Has a cam, extractors, full 2.5 exhaust, stage 4 chip and a tune. 139.8rwkw

sure it wasnt 240 rwkw?
if it really is just 140 rwkw with all that done to it i would hide the dyno sheet and never let anyone see and throw the commy crap over a cliff.

On a 15 year old v6, weighing about what 1300kgs. You're probably getting confused with the VT clubby lol. It's the VS commo with a cam, extractors exhaust and a stage 4 chip

If you live in Sydney, why you would ever go to JMM is beyond me. CMS is on your doorstep, they have proven packages, weather its cams, heads or whatever. His stuff is just as good if not better, he can do it all in house, tunings as well. Worst case you have any issues with it, he is in the state and will actually talk to you after you have paid for the gear.

No malice towards JMM, CMS is the way to go if your in sydney and want to keep some of your hard earned in your pocket.

Ive got one, Legendary car, havent had any issues so far but Id say look out obviously for the head gasket and the diffs seem to be a bit dodgey, mine likes to sook and make some noise every so often, how many Ks? but really if its been well maintained and such then like any car well looked after itll be fine, cheap to maintain and insure and very fun to drive with a manual box, Id recommend one.
