im looking at buying one of these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/REDBACK-2-5-SPOR ... 27b43a6983

seeing as its redback i dont doubt the quality, just after any feedback if anyone has bought one, and are they easy to bolt up yourself? also is this a good price?

They are pretty easy to fit yourself, a fairly good price, and best of all, from a company who will have it delivered very promptly!

Biggest problem you'll have is getting the old exhaust off... not a problem if you're not worried about cutting it up to get it off..

One thing you cannot get is a 3" system though. This is what annoys me.

If anyone see's a 3" version to suit a 6cyl of the Redback system, please let me know.

do they sound anygood would be my next question.. i got a stock system on my ed xr6 and was looking at getting the redback 2.5 for it. my current exhaust is only a few months old so was gunna keep it for a spare instead of just lop of the rear 2 mufflers and put on a hot dog like the local muffler shop wanted to do..and charge me 300 for it.. i wont be going there again..

I bought the Redback 2.5" single muffler setup - everyone LOVES the sound of it. Don't hesitate man - grab one!

Ahh the memories

Under the car which was on ramps and cutting up my old exhaust in 2 places. Done in summer heat at night in my parking garage, no air movement, with a hacksaw only whilst sweating like a nigger on a rape charge.

Fun times not

HAHAHAHA...some what racist but funny.

If it's a relatively new exhaust...you can try and get away without cutting the old exhaust off. The rear muffler and piping should be able to be removed much easier from the mid section if it hasn't rusted together. With a bit of patience and a hammer to the joint might see it come off...if it doesn't you'll need to attack it with a hack saw/grinder.
