i was thinking about fitting a au head and cam to my 92 eb, i dont know anyone who has made the conversion or know exactly whats involed, i was thinking maybe a ef xr6 ecu, manifold and fuel rail. at the end of the day is it going to fit and will it be worth all the bull involved ?.

i dont think AU onwards heads fit onto pre AU blocks but feel free to prove me wrong...

yeah they fit on ... no problems .
cheers! I'd rather get an EF head EL head, and a bit of porting though .. Cam's are harder to get for the AU's |

spider has a AU tickford head on a ED block so yeha there work ,if you want to contact him head over to pornmods.com he's on there

thanks guys, however i just located a complete au xr donk with a five speed behind it going cheap i think i will drop it in as is. saves all the mucking about but i think i still use the ef xr inlet manifold, fuel rail and ecu.
