hi

with the ed model if someone puts in a el tickford ecu in with log manifold whats the ed model like on fuel and how much power does it have with a el tickford ecu and log manifold.

is there a way to put resistors in the bbm circuit to trick the el xr6 ecu into thinking it had the bbm

that wont do anything, the ecu only switches the bbm from long to short runners at 3700 or 3800 rpm..

also you wont gain much from swapping just the ecu, i swapped ecus before i did the bbm conversion on my ed out of curiosity and i reckon all it did was use more fuel..

It wouldn't do much of anything without all the other corresponding XR components.

It's likely it wouldn't run as well as it would with the stock ECU, which is designed to run the standard ED engine..

PM me if your interested in an ED XR6 ECU. Slightly more power and more responsive auto shifts.
