hey ive just registered to this site today so wil try get some pics of my car up soon.

i have been having a bit of trouble with my 94 ed xr6 wagon its bogging or missfiring under full throttle but is fine on 1/2 to 3/4 throttle.
im hoping its only plugs or something easy cos as you all would kno the dizzy and or coil is a mish to get at so i thought id see wot any of you guys could diagnose before i started skinning my knuckles!

The first thing i would do is change the spark plugs then the fuel filter and run it on some good premium 98 fuel and go from there. Next after that id look at leads and rotor button.

First of all, let me welcome you to Fordmods, I agree with what he said, and it wouldn't hurt to also reset the ECU (if you haven't already) and have a look at the inlet manifold gasket for leaks, give the inlet manifold bolts a little nip up and give the throttle body a clean with carby cleaner.

i have recently replaced inlet manifold gasket as it had a hole in it so maybe i didnt tighten it enough thanks for the tip mick au2

Check the condition of the ignition coil and the dizzy parts ( cap n rotor ).
