hello ive done some searching but i want to ask you can you please give me a list on what causes cooling problems and what to do to fix the cooling problems with EA-ELs and make them as good as the au other than a metal headgasket because im getting a ED Fairmont 6 cyl and i want to fox all the common cooling problems.

Use a top quality coolant, Keep the cooling system clean and always use distilled water instead of tap water to top it up.

if you want to do it properly take ya radiator out and get it serviced or reconditioned...... run clean water throu the car to get all the s**t out..... then change the water to the RED coolant but once it is red keep it red RED & GREEN mixed turns to a thick jelly type of substand like vaso.
