This problem started happening a good few months ago but now happens all the time. The car idles very low almost all the time now. It idles just above the 0 on the rpm metre. Then when the air conditioning is on it idles on 0 and the car sounds like its about to die but somehow still manages to not stall. Anyone know what this problem might be. Its so annoying because its like i almost cant use the a/c when its hot.

Had a bit of a fiddle with it. Looked through a gregory manual on ED's, turned the screw but its hard cos theres all gas stuff in the way so had to move intake tube to get to it. Didnt really notice any difference but then it wasnt like i turned the screw heaps either.

(best done while the engine is running) try unplugging the idler too, and run the car.... if there is no change in idle then that may be the problem.... |

which way do i turn the screw? Clockwise or anti clockwise

Clockwise, you want to turn the screw so it goes in, which in turn opens the butterfly ever so slightly.
Does it idle low in park, drive, or is it a manual? |

did you do it when running and unplug isc first?

ok well i've turned it clockwise 3 times now and it seems to have fixed the problem atleast now it doesnt seem like its going to stall. Cheers and thanks for your help
