im sure this might have been asked before., its bloody anoying but.
just did head gasket and a sump gasket and timing, yet it still leaks oil, looks like its coming from around the harmonic balancer. have to top it up every few thousandK. the sump was a b**ch as i didnt want to drop the k frame so i think i might nto have put it on properly.
should i even bother trying to do it again?

you probably damaged the gasket trying to get the sump on. if you dont want to keep topping it up with oil, i suggest remove the engine and do it properly.

yeah im thinking of just pulling the whole engine out. bit of a job but..

if u have an engine crane and all the right tools it will be easier, dropping the k frame would be harder
imo

to drop the k frame you need ball joint separators and maybe redo your alignment ,if you do mark the 2 big nuts on the front of the kframe to the kframe.
