the battery snorkel that is
after i broke it off the box and mask taped it back it keeps coming loose and making contact with the p/s. im fed up and pulled it off for good. question is, is it safe to do this and will the battery explode? 
EB-ED owners, have you ditched or retained the battery snorkel?

I threw out battery cover on my ed.Rac told me they hold in heat and stuff the battery.Opinions vary though.

Ran without mine in the EA for about 3years with no probs, only put it back on coz i finely stopped f**k around with s**t! And it makes under the hood look complete.
Post pics if your battery does explode though! LOL!!

ive kept mine because i was told it can cause tha battery to overheat as the engine bay in our cars get quite hot.
