Hey guys, been lurking in the background for a while and can't seem to find any information that has the same faults that mine is having. Got a 94 ed futura, 4 speed auto. Every time I go above 80kph tranny jumps into 3rd gear, and wont go to any other gear. I have to turn off the ignition and sit there for about 30 sec or so before it will run as normal again. Also, not sure if it has something to do with it, but I can put it in any fwd gear and it acts like its in D, It won't go into 3rd, 2nd or even first. No other noises or vibrations, just cant go over 80 unless I want to drive around in 3rd gear. Anyone got any ideas?

i had a NAfairlane 4 speed auto mine did the exact same thin but my speedo also stoped working breifly before it locked into trird and when it became locked it worked again i just replaced my speedo drive and sensor thing and never missed a beat since!
