my father inlaws ef fairmont is getting hard to start at times,i.e. at no particular time and for no particular reason from time to time it winds a fair bit before fireing...when running it runs well and doesnt get hot or use water and is the most fuel efficent 6cyl falc ive seen
im thinking a weak coil pack..would this be a fair guess?? any ideas. cheers. |

all good ive put it down to either fuel reg or pump so im gunna change both

fuel reg looks brand new...i got the misses to turn the reds on whilst i was in the boot and when the car was hard to start the pump was makeing horrible grinding noises not happy humming ones...my theroy is pump is slowly wearing out so i will replace it tomoz and update..there not to hard to do are they?

its just a matter of removing the cover in the boot isnt it?then easy from there?
