Hey everyone, how r u all?
I installed a new battery in my car today as the other one was completely rooted. I took the old battery out and put the new one in, checked that everything was connected properly then started the car. When i started it the idle went straight up too 1300RPM and stayed there for about 10 seconds then slowly made its way down to 800RPM.
Then i put the car into Reverse to back out of the driveway, then when i shifted it into Neutral,(so i could put it into drive), the RPMs went up to 1300RPM again and did the same thing.
After driving it for a while i noticed that if i have it in 3rd gear doing 55KM and de-accelerating, the car starts to shudder a bit, but if i have my foot on the accelerator and holding it at 55KM in 3rd gear it doesn't shudder.

Also my Base Idle is all over the place,
NOW, What is the PROPER way to reset my Base Idle, and what could be causing the shuddering in 3rd gear at 55km and de-accelerating.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN TIME TO READ MY PROBLEM.

Let me know as soon as anyone has a answer for me.

cheers

Don't think it has anything to do with the throttle body as he changed the battery,
You might have stuffed the fuel mixture ratios (ecu), Just reset the ECU..it will run a bit werid for a while and eventually will code itself to the right mixtures

Yeah i agree that should fix it. My mates does the same thing when he disconnects the battery. He resets the idol and takes the car for a drive to relearn the tune. It takes a while for the ecu to relearn the tune but it will go back to normal eventually. Good luck
