will a ef cam fit to the au engine thinking of doing the au engine con to my ef and want to know if i going to have to change much other than doing the sump mod?

Only way to fit an EF cam in an AU motor is to use all the EF timing gear.
AU and EF use different rocker ratios' Placing an EF cam in a stock AU will force valves to pistons or break lifters.

so i can use my cam with my rocker gear on the au head and that will give the corect lift then ?

I wouldn't call a pack of thieves, it's listed as a very mild cam for the au with bugger all lift. it's not like they claim it to be a big cam. 2232549 .476" .450" <--- AU lift 2222549 .530" .500" <---- EA-EF lift i noticed in your thread you left out the first half of the part number, You also told me in that thread that they have "redesigned it" to make power from 1800 to 5000rpm, if they had done so, it would carry a new part number. something makes me think you new what was going the whole time. |

Ok so they sent the wrong card but they assured me on three seperate occasisions that in was the right specs. The cam was supposed to be a billet after all. Before ordering the cam my mechanic spoke with them and told them what I wanted. I wanted the 546 grind, but john said " no no no you want the 549 cause that will give you every thing you want, it's been redesigned to be closer to the 546 than it was before it will give you everything you're looking for". To that I say rubbish.
It didn't go any better really than it did before, I've got a waggot 760 now and it feels like a cam should. It's chunky as a mofo and cracks hard and hasn't been dialed or tuned yet. Should be fun watching my 250k motor make 160-170 at the treads. Mind the head hasn't been off so there's noport or polish job on this one.
