You'll probably find they both have the ford part number on them,

but for the price plus postage of the ebay ones you might as well just go to a local parts retailer and buy one.

Check and see if the AUI coil pack is a different part number to the EF, they possibly are the same. If different use the AUI

I just grabbed my spare coil pack, It has the Bosch part number you put up, as well as a 94DA number which I always thought was the start of old Ford part numbers??

It has no identifying marks otherwise apart from Made in Australia.

I always thought Bosch made the genuine Ford parts anyway??

94DA implies a 1994 production start.

As I understand, yes, which is what I always see on genuine parts fitted to fords, genuine part number or descriptor.

I would imagine AU coil packs would have a different part number as they were the reason that ford reverted to the dizzy in the ELs.

ef/au1 coil pack is the same, au 2 and 3 coil pack has different connections also you will need to run series 2 spark plugs and leads

you can runn a s2/3 pack, just cut the old connection off and resolder the new connection on

As ash cook, he tried using a au 1 coil pack in a series 2 ute and failed as it wouldnt start the car

Just be thankful Lucas never tried their hand at any coil packs for our cars.
