This problem has only occured recently, car had been sitting for a couple of months with a flat battery new one installed sorted a few problems with car ...clutch, suspension (thanx Dr Hemi)etc and only just starting driving the vehicle to sort out any other dramas with it...now when the car is cold it wont hold idle and stalls but will when its warm around 650-700 rpm

a little more info on the car is that its a 4litre 5 speed factory vehicle no ecu changes or any of the other usual e-series mods done...

so if any one can help Im guressing the first thing is to reset the ECU and learn it all over again...procedure to do this anyone..????

after that any other ideas...?

thanx in advance Kev

could be a number of things, plugs, leads and possibly a blocked ISC. Try those first.

Plugs and leads are both new....under a week old....will pull the isc off and check/clean it although it looks new...still all shiny has been replaced at some stage before I had the car...

thanx for the replies hopefully tomorrow will shed some light on things...

Kev

if it has bean sitting for a while the valves might be a bit sticky . and the injectors might have some slug on them. it might just need a set of plugs and a good oil change .and a good long drive to clear it out .
