Think Charles Darwin, and evolution by natural selection.

Those with beneficial characteristics tend to survive (selected IN).
Those with UN-beneficial characteristics tend not to survive (selected OUT).

i've heard you loose abit of power out when you put a 2 piece tailshaft on and also been told to get a steel one made up. i got rid of my speed limiter about 12 months ago. only went once to 200 kmph. i now love my burnouts but i gotta get a steel tailshaft before i use 3rd gear (in Auto) at 6000 rpm. should be over the 180 km mark which = more smoke :o
At the moment i'll just put up with the limiter in 2nd. lol

Get an ALLOY they can take easily over 200.... My mate has an EB1 Fairmont Ghia with Mustang V8 motor and it pulls 220 Comfotably without vibration (it runs alloy)

My ED Fairmont with its shift shaft will start vibrating like a b**ch at 160+ but its running 4.11's lol that doesnt help.....

he isnt saying he is driving at those speeds and wants to upgrade... many cars run the speedo off the clock doing a burnout, or dyno shoot out maybe... there is alot of examples that dont envolve the car speeding as such
