I was just looking at the Sticky: 3.9L/4.0L Inline 6 Modification Guide
and was reading about ppl putting the ef - el manifold on the ea
does it slap straight on and wut airbox would i use and could i use an ss induction kit or ? what would be the best set up
this site puts so many ideas in my head

The manifold itself should bolt straight on but you need a way of triggering the valves to enable the "Computer Torque Control" as well as getting air into it. A number of people have replaced the existing EEC-IV engine management with an EEC-V to solve the first problem (as well as giving them the ability to fit computer-controlled thermofans) but I'm not sure about the second, maybe modifying an EF/EL airbox?

Thanx LSD do you know if it would be worth the money to do that conversion or just better off doing a good air induction kit...would it be costly
