THE CATCH CODE ON MY EEC IS 4DCD?! ACCORDING TO THE MODIFICATIONS SECTION UNDER EF ECC CATCH CODES THIS IS A NON EVENT. ANY IDEAS

Yeah the catch codes in that doco are not a comprehensive list. There's dozens of catch codes for EFs out there.

Think you'll just need to find a compatible one. Is this a tickford motor?

from what i can tell this is not a tickford motor but i would like to find out. thats why i checked the ecc number!? any ideas on how to find out?

assuming this is from your ghia? is it a series 1 or 2? AFAIK, the 1's got thr stock ECU's, but the 2's got the ticky ones - which is what i've just ordered in for my EF :wink:

what build date is your car?
