Hey there guys,

My 96 Fairmont which I have only just aquired a short while ago

is having a problem with the heater. It doesn't blow hot air..

Now the heater tap has been checked and it is near new and works (switching back and forth)
The radiator cap is new and holding pressure and I have done the climate control diag and no codes come up so what could I possibly check now? I would have thought if the blend door was faulty a code would have shown after the diag test?

Could it be the cabin sensor? How would I check this and if it was wouldn't it report with the diag test?
The air con doesn't work because the system is out of gas...

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply.

I will have a go at flushing the heater pipes on the firewall.
Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Do a system reset and test (Mode + Off) and see how it goes.

It will reset the blend door limits/operation if the CC computer has forgotten them. It happens.

Only do this when the engine is at operating temperature.
