Going to replace the climate control on the weekend and paint the cluster panel machine grey. While I have got the dash fascia off I thought I might aswell do the lights. I have climate control, clock/trip and high end cluster
What lighting I want is white on the cluster with red guage arms ( is this possible?) or red guages with white speedo/tacho and red for info lights. I also want white buttons on trip and climate control with red displays ( thought red led's would make the orange red) and white for dash buttons ( antenna, locking, boot release and fuel release) and red for trans light. What lights do I need? I would hunt around and try and find out but I want to go to Jacar tomorrow and grab them before the long weekend.
Cheers

Huh?
Can't understand most of that, haha.

T5 globes will do all of your dash (that aren't sealed globes)
Some of the button lights you will need neo wedge type globes.

Climate control screen is sealed, but the buttons are lit by T10 globes.

Trip computer you need to change the orange filter to either the colour you want, then have a white light behind it, or have a white filter, and the right colour LED globe behind (red in your case)

Yes, just use EL needles.

Once you disassemble the cluster you'll see that it's backlit as a whole. It's not a case of one globe per gauge, but you can filter the light as shown in my thread to achieve your desired look. Bit more work involved, but it actually works out cheaper and looks better in my opinion. I have gone down the coloured LED path for the cluster and didn't like the uneven light spread.

Thanks for that. Was kind of hopeing it would be as easy as selecting different globe colours but it sounds like thats not the case. I didnt get a chance to go into Jacar today so I will be dropping the cluster out tomorrow and I will have a fiddle with it
