hi i have a ef fairmont with a au tickford motor not a vct what . im new to this i keep hearing all this xr terms and seris 1 and 11 what does that mean i want to but a cam in proply stage 3 crow cam but i dont want to buy anything till i know what it all means .
is it possible to have a stage 3 cam and turbocharge my car later or what has to be done? yer i have know glue.

That pic is awesome.
To answer the original question. Start off by getting some Pacey extractors and a Lukey or Redback 2 1/2 inch exhaust, then go a ALTED/RPD stage 2 or 3 cam, pesonally I'd go stage 2 for the street, and stage 3 for track/strip use (which is what I would use if I was making a track car, which i plan on doing in the next few years.) If you go down the turbo route, save away around 12-14 grand for the complete setup, you could also get a specially ground turbo cam. (correct me if I'm wrong on any of it)

I am surprised you're allowed such a disgusting pics like that to be view on this forum .... maybe in the Flaming section ... fine ... but not on public forum though.
Might even be in the forum rules and regs too. As twr7cx said .... go to the Sticky ... there's good info in there ... might take a bit to read ... but well worth it.
