Hi everyone
The saga continues with my son in laws ef,we have renewed plugs,leads and coilpack and it is still missing like hell,anyone like to have a guess were to look next as it is really starting to p*** me off.thanks to anyone who can help. regards dragman |

Have you checked all injectors are working? Start it and pull the plugs off the injectors 1 by 1 and see if the idle changes, if it doesnt, theres your culprit
other wise, vacuum leak, cam angle sensor, is it a constant miss? Thru out revs, load, etc? Or only at idle?

inlet manifold gasket?
Spray some water on the manifold and listen for hissing/change in rpm.. I think most people recommend you use brake cleaner instead.. I just used water and found it pretty quick. |

Thanks to the people who replied,it was the coilpack that was stuffed,but my knowit all son in law plugged the leads all a*** about face which was why it still ran like a pig.Thanks again to everyone who replied.
