a few questions just our of interest
1) is it possible to drop a v6 - v8 into an ef falcon?
2) would there be any point?
3)what other changes would need to be made for this kind of upgrade?
4) any other questions/points i might have missed?

The 8 is possible, has been done many times and no doubt there would be a fair bit of info here on FordMods ( The Search button up the top is your friend )
As for a V6. Not really much point, a lot of hassle and cost for basically no real gain in performance. The 4.0 L6 is a very good engine, and again there is a wealth of info on these forums in regards to performance upgrades. Cams, exhaust, chip etc.. to putting a BA XR6 Turbo engine and trans into an EF.
For the $$ you would spend on converting to a V6, you'd be FAR better off using it to upgrade what you have.
