Hi all, was just looking at the manual loom I have compared to the auto loom, I know the ends of the looms are different (where the loom plugs into the box) but the start of the loom (where it connects up into engine bay) also is different.

The manual loom just has a rectangle plug at the end of it, where as the auto one has the rectangle one and separates off into a a connection with a circle plug also.

I was just wondering how this works, I have done the manual conversion before, I used the WHOLE loom last time, this time I don't have it, just have the loom from the box.

What is the go with this, where does the circle plug that the old auto loom was connected to go? Does it just stay unplugged or what is the go?

Cheers

Are you using an auto or manual ECU?

Well with the manual ECU you dont realy need the circular plug, just the one with the reverse lights.
But if you see the thread i made yesterday, the neutral switch wires should be connected into the gear selection input to the ecu and the gear selector wires are on the circular auto plug.

Cheers for help guys, was just a bit confused as I dont remember having a plug just sitting in the engine bay not used, especially considering that braches off into different areas of different loom.

Cheers
