my brother just bought an ef manual goes pretty good, just wondering do i have to buy the hole bonnet to get the xr air intakes and i found a place to buy xr lights just the lights not the whole bumper but there 650 buks which is a rip off anyone know a cheaper alternative

Hey mate,
Can but the vents seperately, have seen them on ebay, may still be some around there. Sometimes fordmods members selling them as well. Yeah that's what you'll pay for lights unless you get lucky at a wreckers or something. Very much sought after, hence very expensive!!

auto-one or repco sell fake EF XR bonnet vents - but you still need to get them cut in, which is the difficult part! talk to a decent panelbeater, they should be able to help you in that regards
as for the XR front end, lol just keep your eyes open! bargins do appear! (as i well know!  )

lights can cost $400-$800,the bar well $1000 upwards unless if you are lucky enough to see it in the wreakers but if the wreaker has brains he will sell it to you for the most he can get out of you so try the forsale section forum as you will get eventually

brand ne and genuine 650 is cheap i got mine for $620 brand spankers had to do a bit of haggling tho, indicators brand new are gonna be over 150 each as well

or, you could be like me, and get an entire EL XR6 front end, with headlights & indicators and bar, resprayed, for $600

so you're looking at an XR front. hmmmm.
i just got an EL front to go on my EF xr6 and now i no longer need the EF one. it has been hit one or twice. and fibre glassed on the back of it. 200 pluss postage seems fair if your keen |

is that 200 for the bar only or for the lights and indicators aswell.

It would be for the bar only. u dont have to change the lights if u are going from a EF to EL XR front
