past few weeks i noticed my ef have been stalling after start up have to keep the revs up myself to keep her running i have no idea what it is

i changed the spark plugs but that didnt help not that the engine was under load anyway but hrmmm cant think of anything

any help would be great

Sounds like it could be something as simple as your ICS not working/properly

apparently in the EF's there is alot of problems with the ecu and electrics like that ?

i got the same problem with mine every now and again try changing the ecu but that didnt fix it ?????

new injectors new fuel filter changed them cant be that with more pedal u would use more fuel so less would gettin to the motor which would run it lean fuel blocks would effect performace all the time .....


its something that comes and goes ive change injectors all filters oils coolants fuilds belts brakes rotors hoses etc

this started before i done all this crap to my car and its still there


love to hear about this ics guys i have no idea what it is what it does where it is lol

ICS is on top of the throttle body. It is what makes your car idle, idle up when aircon on/turning etc. It is probably sticking every now and then, its just what they do when they get old. Pull it off, and clean it, then replace it and check its working.

ICS looks like this.

you know what ur on the ball i noticed the other day it was at idle at 1,000rpm and felt like she wanted to go if u know what i mean other times its idled at 500rpm other times 750rpm i'll check it out today and see how i do thanks heps mate

ur info and pictures are spot on

well i cleaned it out wacked it back in went for a drive and was perfect but over the next week will tell coz as i said it comes and goes

Sorry to be pedantic, but isn't it ISC (rather than ICS)?

ISC = Idle Speed Controller
ICS = ?
