Hey guys im looking in the near furture putting a ef motor in my eb.

ive done some research on the conversion. but what i want to know if i use my log manifold on the ef motor. will i need to change any wiring or anything else.

Best to use an EL engine if you can and EL ecu as the EL ECU's will plug straight in, EF ecu's have more pins.

You can mod the engine bay loom to accept the EL engine and accesories, BenJ on here has done it and i think TROYMAN did the AU VCT into his E-series car (cant remember which one).

thanks for the help so far. yes i just read that its better to use the el motor as the ef use's coil packs

there the same motor, just pull the cam sensor out and drop the dissy in.

If you want to use the log manifold ether use the 3 belt setup or get and XH belt tensioner.
