my ef also runs rich, it has a mild crow cam, but blows smoke at startup, changed fuel pump and injectors, there is a strong smell of fuel in the car in the morning and when driving around normal it miss fires or pops but at high revs its normal does any one know why

If its the EL fairmont then you didnt replace the big o-ring properly. I had the same issue. I fixed it in 5 mins.

Mine blew alot of black smoke on start-up but i used 95-98ron for 1000km and that reduced considerably. So i suggest running 95-98 ron after an oil change and then continue to use 91 ron after the next oil change. Works a treat.
