Hi guys

Got a NEW problem!. Just convered the car 2 manual and put in the manual ecu., When i put it in, I had to readjust the idle because it was stalliung when we first tried it. Bumped the idle.. seemed good.

Now when ever the car gets started when its cold, it stutters and stalls until its warm.

whats wrong!

i have the same prob with my manual but its cos the IAC or the Idle Air Controller is unplugged due to it pissin me up the wall.. have u tried adjusting the idle when its cold?? eg have someone in the car holding the revs enough to make it idle?? it just sounds like u have adjusted it when its hot so itll idle well then but when the thing is cold its diff.. also, have u tried holdin the revs between 1000 and 1500 revs for like 15-20 secs?? that helps with mine. good luck with it and hope it helps or someone else helps out

ISC Solenoid? would that be just replacing the whole ISC?

Also, i put a manual ecu in with the manual conversion and thats when the problems started. Could that be screwing it up?

Cheers.

The ISC is a complete unit.. i have replaced that myself but to no avail.. you dont need fancy computers to reset the base idle.. all it is is the screw or the ISC.. the computer controls it otherwise.. but yeah good luck anyways

If i want the car to idle right i have to turn the ISC screw up every morning till it gets to a steady rpm. its odd. Its like it resets it self every morning.
