hi i wanna put a tickford head on my EF Futura is it as simple an putting it on or will i have to get a new ECU and stuff???? the car is on LPG and advice would be great thanks :)

it will go straight on with no problems... no need to change anything else like ecu ect..

if it is off a 3.9 ltr engine will it go on a 4.0 ltr?

umm well the 3.9 was never a tickford engine but yes if it came off a 3.9 it will fit..
as the 4.0l is just a 3.9 with 40 thou bigger pistons

Are the major things that changed to tickford models...

All this lifted from 148 to like 160 or something of that nature on the ED... Not sure about the EF... Bugger all difference...

You know that if that head is a 3.9L it is not a tickford head and you're not gaining anything by putting it on...

A tickford head has a big "T" on the front of it... If it came off a 3.9L some has put it on there...
