hey guys i have a 94 ef auto and a eb series 1 auto eb wana put the ef trans into the eb will it be a straight sawp? any wires have to be changed?

they are the same trans so should be a straight swap over.

coz ive got an au conversion done but my trans wont select 3th gear so i thort it culd be that trans?

did u ask the mech who did the conversion that his loom might have stuffed up the trans wiring

its goes
1ST then second at 32 then 3rd at 62 then no more changes of gears.. when i have my ef i could drive slow down my street and it wud change at low revs but i have to get to 32kmph to change to second

just take it back to him and tell him to fix it, if its was working perfectly fine before the condtion,

must be his f**k up

When you get up to 80 or so does it change into 4th? and does the convertor lock up?

The early computers had s**t auto mapping compared to the EF/EL.

benj i was doin 140 and was stil in 3rd mate.
whats the converter?
i also realised tonite i can just puth on the shifter without pushing the button and it goes into neutral? not normal is it?

I think you should be taking it back to the place that did the work, and ask them to rectify the issues.
