Its twice now in 3 months its blown the ignition fuse.
Strange thing is its also the stereo and interior lights as well as ignition. I wouldnt of thought they would be on the same circuit.

I guess I have to buy a few 10amp fuses and store them in the car for when they blow.

Does anyone have a fix?

Check boost light ?? It often gets bumped and shorts when things like suite cases are loaded into boot etc...

Its probably the key ignition light thats doing it then. It comes on intermittently and so I tap it so it goes out. I need to look at the wiring into that for the fix.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I wasnt %100 sure.

Also it could be your the electrical charging system could be your alternator or Battery is on the way out as is not giving enough current through the system as well, so is surging power everywhere and hence your fuse blows.

Completely wrong there mate. Its a short in the wiring in the steering column.

I had the same problem with my EF XR6 the light for the ignition was shorting out because when I put the cover on the steering column it nicked the wire which then earthed out blowing the fuse and leaving me with no ignition.
