Not sure specifically about the XR6 ecu but a wrecker in Brisbane advertised about 6 EF ecus (variety of catch codes)for $50 ea a couple of weeks ago. The XR6 ecu would be a waste in a standard EF Fairmont unless you had a cam and headwork similar to an XR6 engine.
