i wouldn't pay $250 for the engine let alone the head on its own.
i'd pay $100 for an XR6 head second hand, or pick one up from the wreckers for $50...

I would love to see you pick up an XR6 head from a wrecker for $50 $250 $300 is what I have seen them for sale for you might get one for $100 but I would doubt it would be any good or it is a really good buy.

self serve wreckers mate...
seen a few at pick a part, and cost of a head is $50. regardless, i dont think spending $200 more over the price of a standard head second hand is worth the gain that an XR6 head would give

Its also at some stage has some port work don't dunno who did it but doesn't look the greatest job but it worked well.

tickford heads go for 395 at weckers around my area ........and 595 for full recon tickford head
