Hey new to site i just bought a 95 ef xr6 man with a sports exhaust i want to put a turbo on and want to know wat add ons should be fitted so it runs smooth wen its converted on a tight buget thanks ppl.

tight budget and turbo conversion = epic fail.

to be done right so the motor isn't a grenade it costs money

on a tight budget? how tight is tight??
unless your willing to flash a fair bit of cash i dont think its going to be reliable.
on the cheap side, your looking at atleast $2500-$3000. for just for a no name/no frills turbo set up.
then you can go with the cheaper tuning solution which is j3 chip, rising rate fuel reg ect.

a good reliable set up with quality parts with aftermarket ecu,injectors,fuel pump ect, complete your looking at around the $7500 to 10'000 mark.new.. if your patient you can pick up good quality second hand turbo set ups around $3000 from time to time..
then you also got to think about driveline upgrades and dyno tuning

I brought a good turbo set up for 2k
2nd hand holset hx35w Turb
New haltech E6X ecu + loom + extra sensors
New 60lb injectors
New 044 fuel pump
Steampipe manifold never been used.
New 600x300 intercooler.

So add $$ oil lines, dump pipe, dyno tuning ontop of that =. 5k
Even less if u install tune ecu ur self and make up pipe work ur self which I'll be doing

Go on forums eBay look for 2nd hand bits or kits and slowly gather ur set up you will save alot

welll im gonna give ebay a thrash n the local meches around freo and buy good s**t slowly and do a proper install wen are there some cruzes around perth.
