hey just seeing if any 1 can tell me what the econ light means in a manual when it turns on car wont run any body have an idea what would be causing this???

hey guys got a ef xr6 aftermarket computer waggot cam 5spd manual and in my dash the econ warning light is coming on every now and again and when it stays on my car doesnt want too run but when its not on cars fine any one have an idea //

I think from memory that means its gone into limp mode but you have a manual.... wierd....

wouldnt have a clue the econ light only comes on every now and again and when it does tacho reads wrong,temp gauge doesnt work and it just doesnt wanna go at all but when its not on car is going like a dream
|

just pulled of kick panel the computer looks like a piggy bank cause on the bottom of it has a blue plug or something taped there the comp is also chrome looking it hasnt got any brand on it but it has a part no nd barcode ive got all the numbers ill post em up for you.

by the sounds of it has a j3 chip, not an actuall aftermarket computer..
