Back to topic for a sec haha,

where would I be able to grab some good flexy pipe for relatively cheap?

Pretty soon some1 will say 'take a hike...this is about EF box vs EL box' LMAO!

dont use the supercheap pipe. just use a heat gun and a v-necked bottle (i used a tomato sauce bottle) to gently open up the smaller end of the EL intake pipe so that you can get a tight seal into the EF airbox lid.

or get a bit of 3" pipe from an exhaust place to go from the EL elbow to the EF box. cost: $10. paint it to match your intake, voila!

the supercheap one flexs way to much, and squeses itsself together when reving the motor .

as above, a 3" pipe will be much better

you need one like this

Ok sweet. Thanks for that nice and straight to the point. Well I'm going to get my rear resonator taken off my exhaust on Thursday so I'll get some pipe made up too.

3" and 25cm long should do it yes?

if your getting a piece of pipe done, ask your exhuast joint to knock up a full 3" s/steel intake for you, from airbox to t/body, would look better aswell.

Wouldn't that be expensive? I think I'll just stick to a S/S pipe at the end to fit into the airbox.
