hi. need other opinions as well as benjs and troymans so i can be sure

i just thought of something, if i put in a el engine in instead can the 3 belt still bolt straight to the el engine and will i have the 2 missing bolt trouble when i bolt the el engine in.

can i bolt the ef alternator to the ed alternator bracket as they both look the same just has 6 ribs on the el alternator pulley and 3 ribs on the ed alternator pulley.

will i have the same head gasket troubles as the ed engines if i put the el engine in

will the head gasket go as quick if i find a 150000km or less el engine if i use a 70 or 82 degree thermostat if i use a 85-87 degree switch for the 82 thermostat or the 75-80 degree switch with the 70 degree thermostat.

will i have the same head gasket troubles as the ed engines if i got a lower km el engine than my ed 214000 km engine or would i be better to get the mechanic to quickly do the head gasket using a au gasket before i have it put in

last of all how do i tell if the head gasket needs doing before i buy a el engine

would i get away with just doing the head hasket if i buy a appx 150000km engine before it goes in
