Or an XR6 ECU.
But just remember there's reasons that the limiters there - if you wanna find out why do a search.

Tougher tailshaft (Xr alloy suggested) and bigger brakes are one of the many things you should complete before you even think about going over 180, as twr7cx said the limiters there for a reason!

It sure is and some people just don't get it.

They should go and read the below thread as this topic has been discussed recently.

Thread cleaned up - We do not need to pass judgement on any intentions of removing a speed limiter - it is a simple question and a simple answer has been supplied - if anyone wants to discuss anything OTHER than the intended subject, start a thread in Off-Topic or Flaming - don't clog up the tech forums with subjective dribble.

Thanks,
Steve

Does anyone know how the aftermarket units work ?

ie.

http://shop.importdriver.com.au/store/p ... .inetstore

Claims will suit most 'imports'... last time i checked, EEC wasnt an Australian invention

I assume these merely interfere with the VSS signal?
